We’re a small family-oriented woman owned business that has operated in the flag and banner space for well over 30 years. It's been a long journey:
Amin and Sabira started House of Flags and Banners back in the 1990s from the basement of their family home. Over the years, tremendous success followed the business as they supplied custom printed flags and banners to the general commercial market. In 2012, their son took over the business, changed the name to Aurora Flags and Banners and grew the company to its highest point. In 2022, Aurora Flags and Banners was successfully sold. Concurrently Zahra, the amazingly talented daughter in law, took her passion for building commercial e-commerce sites and brought it to the family flag tradition.
With a laser-focused niche on flags and windsocks, Zahra is changing the aviation industry in her own small way, one windsock at a time. Zahra and her team brought a brand new and completely novel concept to the world of windsocks, that is, a full color custom printed windsock. In an industry that is very well established and conventional, bringing in a new concept like custom printing totally changed what was thought of as possible.
Applying the sublimation printing process to a windsock allowed her to create the ONLY professionally made fully custom printed, high-strength, UV rated, water proof, fire retardant, anti static windsock in the world.
Our home and primary market is the United States however over the years, the Custom Windsocks Co has grown to service international markets like the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia and more. As the business grows, we are excited to bring custom printed windsocks to the world
